Denosumab has become the fourth Alvotech biosimilar candidate to enter clinical trials, with the developer announcing that its AVT03 proposed rival to Amgen’s Prolia and Xgeva had begun a study to “assess the pharmacokinetics, safety and tolerability of AVT03 compared to Prolia in healthy adult male subjects.”
