Mylan is preparing to launch a trastuzumab biosimilar in the US, while progress of developing bevacizumab and aflibercept biosimilars continues. Insulin aspart and glargine are also in Mylan’s pipeline.
Mylan says it is on track to launch its Ogivri (trastuzumab-dkst) biosimilar in the US “in a couple of weeks”. “We expect to be the first company to bring both strengths of the product, 420mg and 150mg, to the market,” stated the group’s president, Rajiv Malik. The imminent launch will be supported by 50 oncology sales representatives.
